Christmas is coming…
…we are ready to get fat.
The decorations are up, there’s presents under the tree, its dark at 4pm and that Coke ad has been on TV. Yes, Christmas is nearly upon us.
We raided my mam and dads attic and came away with a Christmas tree and various other bits and pieces to adorn the flat. Andrea insists we get our own next year though so they can be colour co-ordinated…
Luckily, Mary and Dave still have (more than) enough flashing, noisy, moving items to make their place the usual drain on the national grid house of wonder that is the Udberg family home at Christmas. Yay!
We just have a few more pressies to buy so we may brave the Metrocentre at the weekend, mostly because they have a Hotel Chocolat and I want Andrea to get me something from there… was that a big enough hint?!
We have our first pressies under the tree thanks to Mike and Gail. Hopefully the four packages we sent to NZ will turn up sometime soon and in roughly the same state in which they left in. The royal mail most love Christmas…
We both have two weeks left at work :) I have two Christmas meals/piss ups with work and we have the annual Powburn Christmas get together to look forward to before the 25th.

Hi team am back from the coro for a weekend of painting, mowing lawns and eating fruit and vegies, to try and fight the scurvy thats setting in from eating F&C’s crisps and chocys oh and an asortment of new and tasty pies! eg Kiwi Breakfast: bacon and egg top with mince filling mmm
Work up there is great we are trying to get the shop ready underneath for Christmas the people from the sheep in tirau are leasing it. The two upstairs appartments wont be ready
The fishings been great! we get out in the bosses boat a couple of nights a week, also been off the rocks abit too.
Summer is here its 25 here today, couple of weeks left of work. Will be heading out to the farm on the friday for arnies bday and to see aunty pip, then down to parmie christmas eve and back up again to find a beach and lots of fishing. My deer head is ready to pick up so fingers crossed hes done a good job thats going straight to the pool room ooor shed
Pressies have been sent so hope they arive soon if not Happy Easter!

Merry Christmas from down undda. Your NZ tree has been leant to St Marys to decorate the new admin block opening this week. All is hot and wet here. Cards are all done now. We think of you lots. luv us
