The cake is a lie

This site is now using over 7 gigabytes of storage on the hosting server and I had to upgrade our hosting plan, this was the cause of the recent outage.  We now have upto 100gb of space so there is plenty of room for more hi resolution photographs :)

I have finished my 5 weeks of initial training with BA and have been in my first placement since Monday.   Unfortunately, due to BA’s HR department and the recent postal strikes, I have one reference which still needs checking (it is currently somewhere in the postal void between here and London).  Without a full reference check I cannot access the computer systems and cannot do… well, much at all.

Andrea is looking forward to the half term break for some sleep and planning time.  I am sure she will find a few moments to further raid the North Easts fine charity shops for childrens books and games. When she returns she will be taking over the classroom fulltime as her job share partner has decided to be a stay at home mum!

After the dissapointment of New Zealands premeture exit from the Rugby World Cup (Andrea sulked for a whole week), we (mostly me) are looking forward to the final on Saturday, howay the lads.

John and Andrea.

Ps. The title of the post refers to an excellent and very funny new game from Valve called Portal, part of the orange box collection.

Now you have so much more storage space why don’t you put on a few new video clips

  2. John Says:

That’s not a bad idea, those are actually hosted somewhere else actually anyway.

The problem is we have a “propper” camera now and you can’t take video with a D-SLR but we could borrow your camcorder and take some footage…

Nice to see you guys up and in cyberspace again. We too are in mourning over NZ’s early exit from the RWC to the boring northern defensive game

Aye, take no notice of the negative England comments Anthony, they were just lashing out because of their dissapointment with the All Blacks.

Good result for the toon on monday, hoping for the same against Reading.
