One year down…with pictures!
Pictures are now up. 
The 11th of March saw the one year marker passed since we were married. It definitely doesn’t seem that long…
Mary and Dave threw a great party on Saturday night in our honor and a good time was had by all. Mike and Julie drove up from Chester on Friday night and Shona and Simon arrived from Birmingham on Saturday afternoon for the occasion.
There were also lots of Aunties, Uncles and family friends thrown into the mix along with a special appearance from Gertrude to keep the party lively.
As usual, Dave provided a feast of spicy proportions and quiz questions to keep everyone fat and happy.
Andrea is into her second week of substitute teaching and it is going really well.

yeah, top party dave, food was spot on aswell, i think everybody had a great time, and although the famous udberg punch wasnt coming out of the lions head it still just as good, and it was nice to see it changing colour every couple of hours! well done john and andrea once again, and it was nice to see mike, julie, shona and simon!!

Yes, everyone seemed to enjoy the party.
It must have been good, I’ll need a skip to get rid of all the empty bottles and cans!
Pleased to say that my “Mr. and Mrs.” quiz didn’t end in an early divorce!
Kevin left Gertrude here, I don’t think she was too amused at being stood up.

Fine time had by all, many thanks to the hosts (though for goodness sake get a new shirt Dave) congratulations to the “paper” couple and I’m sure the tourists left with a fine impression of Tyneside………………………if not, Gertrude!!! Roll on the next knees up, oh no, it’s Mothers day this weekend!!!!

well I’m sure it can’t have possibly compared to the quiz at your engagement party!! Well done on the one year mark though - I’m sure my sister will marvel at how a marriage can last that long, you must really belong together forever!

I just wanted to say a big BRAVO to Dave and Mary for this magnificent party, the best being the pictures of the happy couple displayed on their front window!! Kiwi and John, I can’t say how happy we have been to see you again… The day trip to Newcastle was great and Gauleo really enjoyed his visit at St James Park
It was great to get to know Graham, Kevin, Shona and Simon and we are so looking forward to having you all for a party/shopping week-end in Chester!!!!!!!!!
