Hello world!
… its a long time since we talked.
All is going well. Andrea is just going into her last week of term. Last week was a sick week for Andrea, she’s well again now. Hopefully her immune system is coming to terms with all those dirty children.
We are in Birthday time here. Two weeks ago we were at the All Blacks v Ireland rugby test in Hamilton for Mike’s bday. Very good night, even if it was so busy we couldn’t get into the curry house and ended up in a BP service station for dinner! Good pies.
Next is Watson’s yearly celebration then we’re all going out next Monday for Gail’s birthday. Next on the list is the small matter of another four seasons to my name. Then its Andrea. Its all go here!
Even being in the wrong hemisphere and being surrounded by egg chasers theres no dampening the World Cup spirit in our house. The highlights are shown at 3.30 in the afternoon so I tape them on a borrowed recorder (thanks Trace!) and we watch them in the evening.
Some games are at decent times, I was up at 7 this morning to watch the Argies v Mexico. Will be up at 3am tomorrow to watch England over the net.
Why is it somehow not so shocking about Owens injury, must be something about Newcastle. It was almost expected that once Al retired, Chops left, with doubts over Sholas fitness and suspicions that Luque is actually not a professional footballer but a Spanish tourist who got lost while on the stadium tour, that our “star” player would be struck down in a bizzare yet very effective fashion.
Anyway… Hope everyone is well and happy
John and Andrea Udberg.

Aye, the curse of Newcastle has struck again!
Still waiting for England to start playing football, if they can win their games playing this bad can you imagine how good they would be if they could manage a few passes together!
Watched the Equador game at Chris’s house on his 50 inch monster – great picture – shame about the game, but watching Beckham throwing up on a large screen plasma was a site to behold!
Another boogy team next (well boogy manager) but I say BRING IT ON!!!!

I didn’t see Beckham puking on my coverage!
The best I could get was the American coverage over the internet via ABC. Even worse than the way England played was the commentators trying to cover the game… they didnt have a clue.
Fairly confident about Protugal with Deco and another couple out. Then just he small matter of Brazil in the Semi’s… Yay!
John.
